I didn't know they had those "doctor fish" there! I want to check out the light-up of the falls too.

Andy

Damn, I LOVE your blog! I feel like it's a constant field trip and you're taking all the photos I'd love to take (and better than I could). Thank you so much.

Now, the transition from fish eating dead skin off your husbands feet to food was a difficult one... but that's a first for you to post dead skin and food in the same post ;)

Keep up the good work!

Amy;
What a wonderful tour...I am impressed by the doctor fish!!!! Your photos make the area look so nice without too many tourists.
I read about the intense heat you are experiencing...hope you are surviving with some airconditioning...

Still jealous that I never made it to an onsen, but this park looks nicer than the onsen at Hakone. I know you say it's older, but a nice hike might make up for that.

Hi Amy,
This place is gorgeous. I will definitely remember it for my next trip over. Momiji tempura is one of my favourites.
Off topic, I'm really glad you're back from Canada - I really missed your posts *^^*

Sherry

Great pictures as always. We could use some doctor fish around here. DH has a nasty sunburn that is peeling now. That's all I'll say about that. LOL!

hi Amy!!
thanks for the amusing post about the doctor fish!! A Japanese friend told me about it once and I thought she was kidding!

Thanks for the comments!

Andy, at least the food in the post was not fish related. That might have been a bit too much!

ナチトジ、コメントありがとうございます!
もみじ天ぷらの味と質感はかりんとうと似ています。美味しいです!
